- 30 points - Landslide Response:
- Go to the Landslide Blog and choose a landslide to read about. PLEASE CHOOSE ONE FROM AT LEAST A WEEK OR MORE AGO!
- *Bonus Points if it is a really interesting landslide!
- Read the post, watch any videos of the slide, and COPY AND ANSWER the following questions.
- What is the name of the Landslide OR Where and When did the slide happen? (the date and place are often how the slide is identified.)
- Based on the pictures and/or video which type of mass movement is it? (hint: look at your notes for a reminder of the 6 types)
- Where any people hurt? Describe anything known about this.
- Was there any damage to infrastructure, like roads, buildings, etc? Describe it.
- How did you feel seeing or watching the landslide?
- Turn this paper in to Mrs. Hollister no later than Friday, December 12.
