**FIRST TEST - WEDNESDAY, SEP. 8.  INTRO TO EARTH SCIENCE AND MAPS.


Agenda:
  • Logos Country Map Questions.
  • Begin Map Profiles if time.
Homework:
  1. Finish Logos Country questions on your own.
  2. Begin some student work on separate paper that you can tape into your notebook when get them back.
    1. Hurricane Ike Map - sw choices: 1(song lyrics or a poem),2 (Explain information in your own words),4 (Write a letter to someone or a newspaper article about the information)
    2. Map Scale Notes - sw choices: 1 (see above),2 (see above), 6 (draw a detailed picture that explains the information), 8 (make a concept map using the main ideas and words)
    3. Logos Country Maps - sw choices: 2 (see above), 4,  (see above), 10 (hi-lite the main ideas and write a test question and answer for each one)
