- Attend the MAPS lecture on Ocean Acidification at MJC (for directions see link below) and write 2/3 page of good notes. Then, at the bottom of the notes write 1-2 good paragraphs stating how you felt about attending the lecture and how you feel about the information you learned about the ocean. DUE ON MONDAY FOR 30 POSSIBLE POINTS!!
- Watch the Ken Burns documentary Dust Bowl on PBS Sunday and Monday night (or record it to watch when you can).
- Write a detailed 1 page report on each epsiode of the show. (so you can turn in 1 page or 2 pages, depending on how much credit you want to earn).
- In both of the papers talk about the which of the Earth's sphere's are invovled and how each sphere is interacting with the others. Also identify the Geoscience related information that we have been learning in class and how the geoscience processes helped to create the dust bowl. Finally, discuss the signifigance that geoscience processes in general, and the dust bowl depcifically, had on Amerinan History.
