- Sample 25 and 27 both seem to have black and white layers but they are not the same type of rock. What is the feature in sample 27 that shows this?
- Sample 28 has small, red minerals in it. They are gemstones used in jewelry (though these samples are not valuable). What do you think they are?
- Look at all the samples that have a foliated texture. Which sample(s) have expereinced the most heat and pressure?
- Which is your favorite metamorphic rock and why?
