*3-D Plate Tectonics Models are due Thursday.  Your group should be ready to put the final model together starting at the begining of class.  This should not take more than 20 minutes.  Your group should not plan on doing any major coloring or construction of parts on Thursday - you should be ready to assemble the final model.*

  • Work on 3-D Plate Tectonics Models 
HOMEWORK:
  1. Do any work needed on your plate tectonics models.
  2. Complete any notebook work for this unit that is not yet done.
  3. STUDY the questions for the plate tectonics models.  You will be asked 3 of these questions (for the type of model your group has made) so be ready for all of them!

Convergent Boundaries Questions:
1.       What types of lithosphere are found at this plate boundary and what are they made of?

10.   Explain the importance of the magnetic “stripes” of the seafloor around a mid-ocean ridge.

    • should be able to put together the final model in 20-25 minutes and then take it apart and clean it up after Mrs. H has seen and photographed it

    • You will also be asked individual questions about the model as part of your individual test score for this unit!
